The Color Run in Bellingham, Wash.

On Sunday July 21, 2016, my assignment for The Bellingham Herald was to photograph the 2nd annual running of The Color Run. I shot it last year and had a lot of fun as well as learning the limitations of my camera. These were highlighted in my blog post Debut of The Color Run

Best Photos of July 2016

From landscapes, to people throwing fire, to an actress, July was a pretty busy month for me. A lot of Bellingham Herald assignments, some personal projects, and a Getty gig that was super fun. Here is a recap of what I shot this past month.

March For Bernie Rally in Bellingham, Washington

It was a beautiful sunny day the Sunday before the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, over 200 supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders gathered to show support for Vermont Senator. Still “Feelin’ the Bern,” they began their march at Bellingham City Hall at the intersection of Commercial Avenue and Lottie Street.
