On Assignment: My Best Images from August 2015

August was reasonably busy for me. Could’ve been busier, but the lull of summer continued. Which is fine as it gave me time to enjoy the weather by going on a few hikes, a few kayak trips around Bellingham Bay, and a few bike rides.

For freelance work from The Bellingham Herald, I covered the debut of The Color Run in Bellingham (see it here).

Worked a few portrait sessions teaching myself how to control my exposures when using flash and working in Auto FP Mode: (read more here).

One of my sessions was Jake. He’s a High School senior who loves rugby. What a fantastic session I had with him and the result was some wonderful images.

Another was Maddie. She’s the granddaughter of our neighbors MJ and Kim. We went to Boulevard Park here in Bellingham during some blazing orange sunsets courtesy of the local wildfires we have. She was a charm and we produced some fantastic photos.

And I also had fun shooting photos on my hikes and bikes. Here are my top XX images for the month of August 2015. Enjoy!!
