Bellingham was hit with a pretty decent winter storm that dumped nearly a foot of the white fluffy stuff upon the streets.
Snowy Streets:

For the most part, we had a great snow day. well, I though it was great. Being from Colorado, I love snow.
Through Rain, Snow Sleet, and Ice ……

However, this made driving a mess so I didn’t get out much to see the sights. But I did get a few photos.

So rather than chance wrecking the car, I ipted to just grab my gear and shoot around the neighborhood.
Clinging On …

It felt nice to feel my feet crunching in the snow. Yes, I’ll admit I miss living in a snow region. I miss the quiet muffled sounds as the snow falls around you.
School’s Out For ….

I miss the stinging on my face as the snow melts then refreezes. the stinging you feel in your lungs as you inhale the bitter cold air.
Still Hanging On …

Later Monday evening, it began raining melting much of the snow. However, it dipped below freezing and froze. It wasn’t an icy morning per se, but the frozen rain on the trees was really cool.

It was difficult to shoot, but I managed a few photos. My fave is the one above.
